Wayne is a designer from Los Angeles with 7+ years of experience, specializing in design research, speculative design, and workshop facilitation.
At Designit North America, Wayne crafted speculative design points of view and worked with clients in the financial services and CPG fields. He also was a Design Researcher for ed-tech and faith-tech companies backed Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) and Y Combinator. Throughout his career, he's built 0-1 research teams and systems, uncovered new product opportunities while minimizing risk, and measurably impacted core metrics & end-user experiences.
His interests include incorporating strategic design to address challenges around the blue economy, clean water access, and water usage as well as creating seamless, delightful, and purposeful interactions within places of transition such as airports, bus terminals, and postal offices.
He’s looking forward to a year in Italy alongside his peers, faculty, and the larger CIID community to grow as a designer in his domains of interests, (finally) visit the stadiums of the many great European football clubs, and enjoy not 3-putting at the local golf courses in Bergamo.
