Jill Aneri Shah (she/her) is a lecturer at the University of Washington teaching Technical Communications. After graduating from UW's Human Centered Design and Engineering bachelor's program, she worked as a User Researcher for a variety of companies, learning about Human Factors hardware and political software research. Her time as a researcher made her decide to pursue Interaction and Product Design in both hardware and software in order to build user-centered products that inspire joy.
Her eventual goals include developing products that support community development and redefine play for adults, and she hopes the combination of her research expertise and Interaction Design Coursework at CIID will make that a reality. In her free time, she enjoys Bachata dancing and making terrible puns.
