Yase is a Digital Product Designer hailing from Ziro, India. She brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and design sensibility to her work. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has previously worked as a Technical Content Engineer before transitioning to Product Design. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various startups, including sectors such as EdTech, FinTech, and SaaS. Most recently, as an early employee, she played a significant role in shaping the designs and user experience for Rocketlane, a customer onboarding and professional services platform. Beyond her professional endeavors, she dedicates her time to a non-profit project called curiousbeans.org, which she co-founded with her friend Yania. This initiative aims to raise awareness about diverse career opportunities in the lesser-exposed regions of Northeast India. Additionally, she is also involved in learnapatani.com, an initiative that she started to preserve her indigenous language, 'Apatani', which is on the brink of extinction. Yase thrives in environments that foster collaboration, experimentation, and exposure to different ideas that challenge conventional thinking.
