As a designer, Sindhu is foremost interested in using technology to augment human interactions and experiences. She also wants to encourage people to shape technology, just as technology shapes them. Prior to joining CIID, she worked as a UX Designer for five years and graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a dual degree in Art/Design (BA) and Information Science (BS). In industry, Sindhu designed digital products for industries ranging from autonomous robotic food delivery to healthcare supply chain management.

At CIID,  Sindhu has had the chance to expand upon her digital design expertise as well as develop a robust skillset in physical prototyping. She is proud of her “Serendipitea” tea trays and the “My (extended) Hand” wearable which directly pull from her personal experiences. Moving forward, she hopes to design for products that she have a strong personal interest in to better represent them for the intended demographic.
