Chromesthesia

What if you could hear colors?

The idea was to explore how it would be like to have computation infused in real-world objects,  a table for instance.  People can interact with the programs directly with their hands.  The table itself serves as a computational platform capable of running various programs, enabling users to explore them spatially. Each program inherently becomes a multiplayer experience, as interactions occur in the physical world. For the next iterations, users will be able to modify the source code of any program and see the immediate changes.

To show the idea, we implemented a program called Chromesthesia that runs on the table,  inspired by the question: “What if you could hear colors?”.
