Riccardo focuses on the relationship between humans and technology to invent and design innovative solutions that help improve our lives.At Microsoft he led multiple product and design teams on the incubation of innovative products, including Microsoft HoloLens, Layout, Remote Assist, and other Mixed Reality applications, Surface Hub 2, AI, conversational agents, ambient computing, new interactions models, and a number of other special projects.As leader Riccardo strives to build inclusive environments that foster creativity and enable everyone to express their full potential and create meaningful products. He champions design and leads teams through a process of strategy, research, ideation, prototyping, and validation.Ex B-Reel and UNIT9, in London, NY, Stockholm, Florence. His previous work include explorations to blur the margins between physical and digital, making technology adapt to our human capabilities. From Mind Controlled toys, to 360 interactive projection mapping. For Google, he created Chrome Web Lab, the first global exhibition of its kind that connected visitors online with those at the Science Museum of London. In NYC, he created Escape Flight, a startup that inspired a more human-centered approach to booking flights and planning vacations online.Riccardo is a designer, inventor, speaker and teacher, sharing his ideas, experience, and passion at conferences and schools around the world.
