Interaction Designer, Digital Strategist and Innovation Consultant.Prior to joining in Kontrapunkt in 2008, Niels worked for the international design and innovation consultancy IDEO as a senior interaction designer and project manager. He worked at IDEO for 7 years in their New York, London, San Francisco and Chicago offices. His client list at IDEO included many of the Fortune 500 companies like Motorola, Microsoft and Inter-IKEA Systems, Mio and Samsung.Niels leads and manages multi-disciplinary teams to reach client goals through an innovation process based on human centred design methodology. He is highly experienced when it comes to the creation, visualisation, prototyping and testing of new product offerings and value propositions at the early stages of the development process.As an Interaction Designer he leverages his deep understanding of information architecture and intuitive user interfaces on projects as diverse as medical and laboratory devices, spatial environments, service models, brand visions, digital convergence strategies, car navigation concepts, mobile devices, consumer electronics, on-line services and application design.Recent projects have focused on service design, branding and experience design at both the strategic and tactical level.He holds a degree equal to a Masters Degree in Visual Communication / Digital Design from the Danish Design School, Copenhagen
