An interaction designer and technologist, Nicholas is inspired by how our lives are affected by the new abilities electronic objects provide; he explores this through the medium of technology.He joined IDEO in 2006, a design and innovation firm based in Palo Alto, California. There he designed products, services, and strategies across a broad range of domains, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, transportation, web and medical. Since 2010, he invented and designed new visual and physical interfaces at Apple, Inc. in Cupertino, California holding a number of patents that span hardware and software.His work has been featured in a number of publications including Wallpaper*, Make Magazine, and Communication Arts, including clients such as Acer, Artemide, AT&T, Droog Design, Ford, GM, Microsoft, NTT Docomo, Samsung, and Steelcase. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Computer Science from Florida State University, and a masters in Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea in Ivrea, Italy.
