A multifaceted designer creating compelling retail, brand and digital experiences. Leila’s background is in Interaction Design and Visual Merchandising with a focus on technology within sustainable design, employing design research methods and rapid prototyping in her work.Leila, originally from England, has worked for seven years in New York with stakeholders to improve the user experience, specifically for the fashion environment, with both European and US based brands before heading to Copenhagen to study her masters at CIID. Since CIID, Leila continued to remain within the family and worked for a year and a half in Innovation Studios and heavily supported the growing relationship with Innofounder – designing and facilitating their business/design thinking workshops with the start-ups.Leila is now based in London where she received funding from a social impact accelerator to continue to work on her own start-up ‘pillar’ (a digital support platform for mums focusing on supporting maternal mental health) and is also Senior Service Designer for ustwo, working with various clients on global digital products and services.
