Ken is a creative lead at Google’s Brand Studio in San Francisco. He leads a cross-disciplinary team of designers to develop visual systems, identities, and interactive experiences. His desire is to create and lead work that is conceptually and aesthetically innovative. This approach is rooted in the aesthetic appeal and principles of modernist graphic design, but driven by the processes only possible with contemporary tools, such as (but not limited to) animation, film, and programming.Prior to Google, Ken worked in the U.S. and Germany at frog, KMS-Team, and Landor respectively. Over the course of his career he’s had a variety of clients, from Audi to Siemens and Barclays to Old Spice. Aside from his professional work he produces works, which explore the intersection of music, interaction, and technology.
