Deirdre Cerminaro is a Senior Project Lead in IDEO’s Design for Learning studio. At IDEO, she has helped to create a professional development program to help school leaders design school culture and scale an innovative K-12 school system internationally. She is passionate about the role of design and the responsibility of designers to tackle questions of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Deirdre is a co-author of the white paper Thinking and Acting Like a Designer: How design thinking supports innovation in K-12 education. Deirdre has a B.A. in Cognitive Science and an M.B.A. from Yale University, where she co-founded the annual M.B.A. Innovation Summit. Outside of work, Deirdre spends as much time as possible outdoors, and has ridden her bicycle across the U.S. twice.
