David Sherwin is co-founder of Ask The Sherwins, LLC, where he helps organizations develop the capabilities they need for better design and cross-functional teamwork. He has worked on multiple successful training programs and product innovation toolkits for organizations such as Philips Oral Healthcare, Eventbrite, and Google UX Community and Culture.Before founding Ask The Sherwins, David worked as a design leader at organizations such as frog design, Lynda.com, and LinkedIn, where he led and coached large-scale product and service design teams. He has advised community-led design initiatives for nonprofit organizations such as Tipping Point Community, Girl Effect, UNICEF, and many others.David is co-author of Turning People into Teams: Rituals and Routines that Redesign How We Work, published in 2018 by Berrett-Koehler. David is also the author of Creative Workshop and Success by Design, both published by HOW Books. He has taught at California College of the Arts and is currently a visiting faculty member at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design’s Interaction Design Programme and Pacific Northwest College of Art’s MFA in Collaborative Design.
