Basil Safwat is Design Lead at Normally, a digital product and service design studio in London.Basil is an interaction designer and prototyper with over a decade of experience. He studied Neuroscience at Imperial College and previously ran a design and development studio working on digital product design and discovery for a wide range of clients.His goal is to help build tools and systems that augment and expand the range of human intellect and creativity, and loves to work on interesting problems that intersect at technology, society and people.Basil has exhibited work at the Vienna Biennale, and is an advisor at Bethnal Green Ventures, a social innovation accelerator. He also lectures on product design at Ravensbourne University.
