Adriano Sforzi is an Italian director known for his work in both documentary and short films. He gained significant recognition by winning the David di Donatello Award in 2011 with his short film “Jody delle giostre”, which explores the life of fairground workers. Another standout work is his 2015 documentary “L’equilibrio del cucchiaino”, which tells the story of his relative Alberto “Bertino” Sforzi, a circus performer, and was awarded at the Biografilm Festival.

In addition to his filmmaking, Sforzi is involved in educational projects, collaborating with the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIBACT) to bring visual education to schools. He also directs cinematic events such as those at Casa Fellini, an organization in Romagna dedicated to cultural cinema.

His films often reflect a personal and poetic style, rooted in his family’s circus heritage.
