We are currently seeking a Manager of Corporate Affairs & Assistant to CEO to manage a diverse range of corporate functions and high-priority projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and ensuring the smooth operation of Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, and other business-critical functions. Additionally, they will act as a trusted advisor, supporting strategic initiatives and organizational growth.
We are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in Italian and English is required for this role.
Overview of Tasks
Strategic & Operational Support
- Serve as the CEO’s trusted advisor and operational partner, enabling effective decision-making and execution of strategic priorities.
- Manage and drive cross-functional projects critical to the organization’s success.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
Corporate Functions Oversight
- Finance & Accounting: Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and audits in collaboration with external accountants. Ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance.
- Legal: Manage contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and liaise with legal counsel as needed.
- HR: Supervise HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with CIID values.
- Administrative Management: Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly by establishing clear workflows and processes.
Priority Projects
- Lead and coordinate the successful execution of CEO-initiated projects, including growth initiatives, fundraising, and international collaborations.
- Develop and implement frameworks to monitor progress and measure impact across priority projects.
- Collaborate with leadership to prepare presentations, reports, and communication materials for stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relations
- Represent the CEO in meetings when necessary, ensuring effective communication and follow-through on commitments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and collaborators.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Chief of Staff, executive management, or strategic project management role.
- Strong background in corporate functions (Finance, Legal, HR, and/or Accounting).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and English.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Time Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position based at the CIID location in Bergamo, Italy, with occasional travel to support business needs.
