Role Overview:
Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) is a world-renowned hub for education and innovation in interaction design. CIID fosters a culture of collaboration, creativity, and experimentation, empowering students and professionals to develop life-centred solutions to complex challenges.
We are seeking a talented Graphic/Web Designer with a flair for social media to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role combines visual design, web development, and digital communication to enhance CIID’s presence and engage our global audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling. You would work directly with CIID leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic & Web Design
- Design engaging and brand-aligned graphics for print, digital, and promotional materials.
- Develop and maintain CIID’s website.
- Create visually compelling presentations/materials for diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborate with CIID leadership to ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Create and curate content for CIID’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to grow our online community and engagement.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics to refine strategies.
- Stay up to date with digital trends and propose creative ideas to enhance CIID’s online presence.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with the CIID team, visiting faculty, and students to capture and communicate CIID’s activities and values.
- Support the promotion of events, workshops, and courses through visually appealing campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic/web design and social media management.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation trends.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- A working knowledge of Italian would be a plus.
