Academic Operations and Relations Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Academic Operations and Relations Specialist who will play a crucial role in supporting our faculty and ensuring a seamless operational experience. This role is pivotal in preparing and conducting classes, building relationships with external partners, and providing comprehensive support to our students. You will be a key representative of CIID, fostering connections between faculty, students, and local partners, while also supporting various CIID activities and events.

Key Responsibilities
External Relations and Partnerships:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local government organisations, social and business partners.
  • Coordinate student interviews, collaboration projects, and industry projects with external partners.
  • Act as the primary representative of CIID in communications with faculty, students, and partners.
  • Facilitate partnerships that enhance educational experiences and opportunities for students.
Student Support and Administration:
  • Provide administrative support to students, addressing inquiries and resolving issues on topics such as tuition payments, visas and accommodation
  • Assist students in finding creative solutions to challenges encountered in class or in life.
  • Support students in navigating school policies, procedures, and resources
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist with other CIID activities, including pop-up schools, innovation projects, and NEST incubator..
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of CIID community events and initiatives.
  • Assist faculty in the preparation and organisation of materials for classes
