Arvind is an electronics engineer, inventor and entrepreneur from India. He is described as being a serial innovator and is the Founder of a non-profit educational platform called DIY Hacking. Yahoo-Accenture had awarded him as the “Most Promising Innovator” owing to several of his works. He was the Chief Researcher and CTO at Fin Robotics. And has also served as an advisor and consultant to the Government of Kerala, universities like: IIIT and CUSAT and several startup companies.

Arvind is convinced that ubiquitous computing is the future, which has propelled him to work on new interfaces and inspired him to delve deep to learn more about it. One such project, inspired by the Google Glass drove him to creating an open-sourced version through a head mounted display and was featured on Techcrunch. His next stint with wearable technology was through a product he prototyped that is based on a smart bluetooth enabled finger ring that triggers activities on devices through gestures.

He believes that the future holds screenless and more tactile interfaces that can augment the efficiency of people through information and that this can be developed only through efficient human-computer interaction design.
