Marco has spent the last five years studying and researching technology. He has a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), which awarded him with the ‘Best UIC student’ scholarship. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy and he has also been part of the Alta Scuola Politecnica (, which selects the 150 most promising students in Italy and fosters them in a multidisciplinary community.

Marco has carried out and published research in heterogeneous domains, such as human-computer interaction, learning sciences and computer architectures. In addition, he has won the “Call For Ideas” Startup Competition of the Politecnico di Milano’s Business Accelerator presenting an innovative car-sharing service.

Marco joined CIID to balance his technical background with his creative attitude. He wishes to investigate new models of interaction with technology and to explore ubiquitous and transparent interfaces.

Marco cultivates an interest for circuit bending, lo-fi photography, and unconventional Italian recipes.
