This is Your Brain on Design Thinking

Many are drawn to Design Thinking for its ability to unlock innovation, but what areas of the brain are really being used when using the process? In this talk, Ryan will explore the process of Design Thinking while pointing out the regions of the brain that are used during each step of the process.

Ryan Donahue is a creative leader who has built his career at the intersection of design and entrepreneurship. He founded BookFresh – the leading online bookings platform for small businesses (acquired by Square in Feb 2014) and FreshGuide (acquired by PopSugar in June 2010). He served as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at SV Angel – a San Francisco based venture capital firm.

Early in his career, Ryan was a founding member of PayPal’s design and user research group. Currently, he is VP of Product Design at Zendesk (NYSE:ZEN) where he challenges a global team of world class UX designers and researchers to always think more entrepreneurially.
