CIID Labs is the principally practice-based arm of the Research group at CIID. Through Labs, we develop new experimental technology prospects through activities which seek to actively re-examine and re-imagine uses for digital, analog, virtual and real technologies. It is with Labs that research comes alive at CIID. We also highlight the most speculative, artistic and visionary sketches and public projects by CIID staff and community through labs.ciid.dk.

Speculative and experimental work understanding technologies and their potential applications is a further area where CIID is active. With academic, institutional and commercial partners CIID partners in the proposal, prototyping and evaluation of imaginative uses, and speculative directions, for novel and cutting-edge technologies.
