Hard Play – Exploratory Prototyping in Product Design
This talk is a collection of things I learned about how prototyping and experimentation can help throughout design projects, especially when they involve technology. I’ll share my experience from projects ranging from autonomous driving to consumer electronics that each in their way broke the mold of a pre-defined design process by allowing a sort of controlled creative chaos. Each case will show anecdotally how maintaining playfulness and experimentation can help develop better solutions.
Felix is an interaction designer, technologist and angry optimist. He works at Above, where he explores emerging technologies and imagines possible futures through prototypes, films, experiments, and interfaces. Felix is interested in physical embodiments of digital technology and increasingly involved in exploring sustainability in technology because that seems pretty important.
When: Tues. May 28th 2019, 17-18.

Where: CIID, Toldbodgade 37B, Ground Floor, 1253 Copenhagen K.
