From The Past, Build The Future
Come join a discussion of the process and logistical hurdles behind Craig Winslow’s latest project, ‘Brilliant!’, a permanent installation with The Neon Museum in Las Vegas. The project utilises projection mapping across a complex canvas of broken neon, a soundscape of 3D audio, and the creation of climate-controlled towers that can withstand harsh desert weather— heat, wind, dust, and monsoons. The resulting experience is an emotional neon revival that transports you back into vintage Las Vegas. He’ll also dive into the historical preservation process behind Light Capsules (, a project started in 2016 during his Adobe Creative Residency, which temporarily, digitally restores faded ads & type of ‘ghost signs’ using projection.
Winslow is an independent experiential designer who runs a creative studio in Portland, Oregon, with a focus on projection mapping as augmented reality, and a fascination with how we incorporate the past within the future.
