Fjord Trends 2018
Alix Gillet-Kirt, an alumna of CIID, hosts a conversation around technology and design trends collected by Fjord. Fjord’s 2018 Trends are our collective thoughts around the key trends that will impact businesses and society in the year to come. Each of our Trends is born out of a fundamental tension, whether it’s a shift, a disagreement, a collision or a definitive rift in ideas. Digital versus physical, human versus machine, centralised versus decentralised, speed versus craft, automation versus control, traceability versus anonymity … it’s all in this year’s report. Learn more about what’s lurking around the corner for you — as an individual, an employee, an organisation or a consumer.
With over 15 years of experience in the design business, Alix explores ways of creating more meaningful and beautiful digital ecosystems and services. From entrepreneur to in-house designer, from teacher to consultant, she has collaborated with many exciting people and teams across the globe. With a user-centric approach coupled with design flair, she engages people through experience prototypes to create impactful solutions in various industries, including financial services, healthcare and public sector. A Multimedia and Interaction Design graduate from Reims School of Fine Arts and Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, she always tries to create the most value, for projects, clients, and the team. After 8+ years collaboration with Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, Alix joined Fjord in Copenhagen in 2017.
When: Wed. June 6th 2018, 17-18.

Where: CIID, Toldbodgade 37B, Ground Floor, 1253 Copenhagen K.
