3 Years On: how I finally learned how to understand what I learned in design school. What I’ve learned so far about the design industry and some thoughts on what it means to choose design as a career.

Joshua Noble is a principal designer at Teague in Seattle where he focuses on smart objects and spaces and tools for creation and creativity. He’s the author of six books on code and electronics for artists and designers and writes, teaches, and speaks on interaction design, technology and contemporary art. As an undergraduate he studied linguistics and cognitive science and in 2011 he graduated from CIID.
