Marei Wollersberger leads the Insight team at Method London, combining a research-led approach and strategic thinking with creative excellence. During her career she has run projects on all scales, from global open-innovation projects across 4 continents to discovering insights for product and service innovation. She has a strong background in future forecasting and speculative design, applied as a means to create desired futures based on thorough analysis and applied intuition.

Prior to joining Method, Marei has worked with design studios and think tanks in New York, London, Paris and Barcelona. She has consulted clients across many sectors on design and innovation matters, including Intel, Vodafone, Nokia, Sony, Unilever, Hitachi, Novartis, BMW Mini, Davidoff and BBVA.

Her investigations in to future matters have been published by international media including the BBC, and exhibited at Ace Museum, Los Angeles; LABoral, Gijon; and MAK, Museum of Applied and Contemporary Arts in Vienna. Her work forms part of several permanent collections. Marei is also a visiting lecturer in design thinking and critical design.

She studied media and art history at the University of Vienna and holds an MSc in Industrial Design, and an MA in Design Interactions from the Royal College of Art in London, where she studied under Anthony Dunne.
