Joshua Walton

Joshua Walton has spent his career blurring the lines between the physical and digital. Including his current role as a Research Design Manager within Facebook Reality Labs / Oculus Research and previously in his role as Design Architect for Microsoft HoloLens and Windows Mixed Reality. He co-founded the LAB at the Rockwell Group, an interactive architecture group and Sensory.cc a creative consultancy. Joshua has worked with award winning museums, design firms, and interaction studios in New York, London, Copenhagen, and San Francisco.

In 2000 he was part of a team that received the presidential teaching award for their work with at-risk youth in San Francisco. His teaching experience includes courses at CIID, Parsons, MCAD, CCS, and Art Center, and he served as full time faculty for one year at Eastern Michigan University.
