Jimmy Chion

Jimmy Chion is an engineer and designer currently working on helping The New York Times create better journalism through technology and design. Previously, he built ballot.fyi, a site that explained the California election to millennials – garnering 1M visitors in one month. He’s been an Artist-in-Residence at Autodesk, a hardware engineer at an autonomous car company, and a designer at IDEO, working with clients such as Google, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, and many startups. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Stanford University.
