Alice Pintus

Alice is a senior Interaction Designer at Arduino, an open-source electronics prototyping platform. Her expertise is in ethnographic research, strategy, and physical+digital products.

Alice has always been deeply interested in how open source platforms grant universal access to knowledge and tools, empowering people to create what they need themselves. She is also passionate about how design can impact people’s lives in the chronic healthcare field, by minimising complexity while providing guidance and support.

Prior to Arduino, Alice was working for Smart Design, a design firm based in San Francisco, CA.

She was amongst the first group of students to graduate from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), a Master’s level education co-created by an international group of students, faculty and design professionals.
