Alexander is an accomplished designer with a proven ability to develop and implement visionary strategies that support architectural, industrial and interaction design objectives. Prior to working at CIID, Alexander worked in Italy for two years, where he led key initiatives at Syneo Srl. (Milan) including the setup of an interaction design lab and interactive trade show experiences. He is recognised as an expert in applying interactive lighting design concepts to urban spaces. Alexander is a respected leader and co-founder of a contemporary art gallery with an innovative, open source exhibition and interior design concept in Linz (Austria). He holds a BA in space&designstrategies where he graduated with distinction and an MA in Interaction Design from Domus Academy, Milan. His key competencies include: the development of first stage physical prototypes; innovation strategies for interactive retail concepts; rapid concept development; the implementation of interactive lighting design; and the execution and project management of interaction design projects.
