Michele Mauri

Country: Italy

After receiving his Master’s degree in Communication Design, Michele has been working since January 2010 as a research fellow at CRISP (an Inter-university research centre on public services), where he designs and develops visual models to explore public administration data.

He also collaborates with the DensityDesign Lab, a research lab within the INDACO department of Politecnico di Milano focused on the visual representation of complex social, organisational and urban phenomena.

Michele is interested in developing digital production tools, helpful for designers to merge their visual knowledge with data visualisation.

He is also fascinated by the idea of how to communicate and explore huge databases, providing tools to understand the evolution of phenomena in time and space.
