Megan Chiou

Megan is currently a volunteer consultant with the Ministry of Education, Rwanda where she is working with the One Laptop per Child initiative.

She was previously International Teaching Associate in Singapore where she taught art to brilliantly talented junior college students. Megan formerly studied Education and Art, so she comes to CIID with no formal design education but a deep interest in all things design.

Megan believes that technology has, is, and will change the way people learn. She believes that technology, when used effectively, has the potential to create impactful learning experiences and improve education across the globe.

Through CIID, she hopes to refine her own design process and develop her interests in education, design, and technology.
