Description:

The life and death implications of healthcare make it intimidating space for design. We will demystify the complexities and show you the important role that design plays in healthcare. We will explore how you can use design methods to transform Healthcare to be more empathetic, effective and inclusive.

Each day we will introduce a new design method with a short lecture about how it’s used in the healthcare industry. We will share first-hand stories from our professional experience developing products and services. Then we will practice that design method within the context of a healthcare challenge. We will focus on specific areas within the Healthcare domain, examples include; Maternal Health, HIV/AIDS prevention, Diabetes and Healthy Aging.
