Description:
Storytelling is an extremely important skill for UX designers and researchers to master. This workshop will teach key storytelling strategies and techniques used in a variety of media, including cinema, graphic novels, art, and design; and show how to apply them to the discipline of interaction design through a series of iterative projects.

Learning expectations:
Participants will learn how to approach design problems using storytelling strategies, and how to explain design solutions using storytelling techniques. Participants will leave with an understanding of how use storytelling in UX design, and how to expose themselves to ideas and inspiration from other media and apply them to interaction design.

Prerequisites:
Basic skills in Illustrator and/or Photoshop. Basic skills in simple video editing/sequencing software (such as iMovie)
