I am a 2nd year Product Design Engineering student at the Glasgow School of Art and hold a Fashion Design degree from NCAD Dublin. My work currently occupies the space of wearable technology, building on established fashion design techniques to incorporate human-computer and sensory modalities for medical devices.

I have always been fascinated by art, science & human interaction in equal measure. I spent several years in London working with Alexander McQueen, and then honed my technical fashion skills as an apprentice on Savile Row.

Motivated to apply this knowledge in a meaningful way, I worked within the R&D departments of several Irish Medical Device companies, translating between the languages of fashion & engineering.

Last summer I attended the ‘Bodycraft’ workshop at CIID summer school. I had a fantastic learning experience and also made some fabulous new friends, so I’m very excited to see what this year has to offer!
