Applied service design techniques

Country: Japan
Areas of expertise: Design & Innovation

I’m a local designer and a member of Re:public which is a think / design tank in Japan. Our company is engaged in establishment of innovation ecosystem working with corporations, universities and national/ local administrations.

The academic background is architecture /urban planning studied in Japan, Italy and Brazil. My interest is to connect each country’s locals and thereby promote their cultural interaction in order to create a foundation on which regional and inter-regional changes are made contiguously.

I have currently engaged in a collaborative project to create an innovation platform at regional level with multi-stakeholders run in Copenhagen and Fukuoka: a city in Japan. We work as an incubator aiming to launch services by making research on social issues of the both cities, coming up with ideas, and so on with a variety of people.

I’m coming to CIID this summer to learn service design to grow as an organizer of these projects and to spend an exciting summer in Copenhagen.

Can’t wait to see you all!
