The kitchen focused on sustainability in the household. It also took in to consideration the tactile and social aspects of cooking.

We created a variety of ideas and concepts. The strategy was that each of us took a role of someone who would use the kitchen, i.e. the mother, the father, the son coming home to visit, the friend, the dog, the infant.

We thought of a lot of ideas that when combined, would create a kitchen that was perfect for all needs in the family. The key was sustainability and everything was planned to support recycling, low waste and high energy sufficient solutions. Most of the ideas are not to far into the future and many of them could be implemented right away. There are more ideas than the space here allows to show.

We learned how to picture a scenario and to really think about putting the user into a context to create stories that support concepts and visions.
