Mimamori (看守り)
Mimamori is a penguin-shaped amulet of protection, which is made for social workers to use on a daily basis as a device for handling high levels of stress.
Minamori has the following functions:
- Records the voice tone and detects irregular patterns in the breathing.
- Identifies the stress level condition by taking the daily pulse and corporal temperature
- In highly stressful situations, spreads aroma particles to facilitate breath to relax.
- Sends stress level data to the manager for better communicating your condition
The film was shooted with a DSLR camera and a 50mm/80mm lens. The edition of the video and sound was made with Premiere Pro, After Effects and Ableton Live.
