Airo – Video Interactions

Airo is an Internet radio that challenges the filter bubble phenomenon through promoting exposure to diverse perspectives and presenting an alternative way of experiencing social media.

The goal of the Video Interactions course was to help students prototype and communicate more efficiently through the use of video. Thus the course required the team to communicate technical and contextual interactions of Airo through two exploratory videos: Black Box and Day in the Life.

Black Box

The video introduces the phenomenon of filter bubbles from a technical perspective to contextualize the inquiry and demonstrates the technical implementations through the combination of motion graphics and video footage.

Day in the Life

To illustrate the real-world scenario of the interaction with Airo, the video tells a story of a single user. Using first-person perspective, the video guides the audience through the experience with Airo and behavior changes brought by it.
