Mnemo is the result of a one-day rapid experience prototyping assignment— to communicate a product or service of the future in which augmented intelligence could aid human knowledge. The deliverable had to be in the form of a three minute interview podcast of the inventor.

The team came up with the concept of a device, the size of a 1 euro coin that helps people recall pieces of information from their past. It triggers the original piece of knowledge by reactivating the “forgotten” neural paths that led to that understanding, thereby enhancing the process of building upon that knowledge.

After coming up with the concept, the team briefly validated the scientific feasability of the device with some desk research. They then collaboratively created a script for the podcast that explained the inspiration behind the product, how it works and its benefits. The format of a podcast allowed the team to explain some interesting details of the product and the genuine value it offered people who used it.
