Lazy SuSynth

Lazy SuSynth is an interactive sequencer inspired by the form of a record player. When the entire system is powered, six lasers mounted to the roof of the player turn on, and a large transparent disc rotates. Each laser corresponds to a different note in a blues scale. Sensors sit below the disc inside the base enclosure, and detect the laser-emitted light from above.

Users can interact with Lazy SuSynth by placing differently sized and shaped bricks on any of the six tracks of the large disc. When a brick reaches a laser, it breaks the connection between the laser and sensor. The Arduino detects this change in light intensity, and plays a note.

Whether one is new or experienced in making music, they can use Lazy SuSynth to create and be inspired.
