Anoushka Garg

Nationality: Indian
Area of Expertise: Branding, Typography and Graphic Design

Working as a designer at Wolff Olins, Anoushka pitted creativity against business challenges for global companies such as Airtel, Cyient, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, to drive qualitative and quantitative change across these organisations. Her work across many industries in emerging markets – corporations, start-ups, non-profits, and etc.- is strung with a common interest to serve and empower the people that engage with these businesses and brands.

During her time as a brand consultant, she became curious to explore how technology is transforming our experiences and interactions not only with one another, but also with brands, businesses and the world at large. Instead of being an onlooker, she wants to participate in this change. Through the means of this programme, she aims to explore the relevance and implications of emerging technologies in forming richer, more human and multidimensional relationships that improve and enrich our lives.

Trained as a graphic designer at National Institute of Design and Royal Melbourne Institute of Design, she is attuned in understanding the underlying complexities of various socio-cultural contexts and thus approaches design from a very people centric lens.

Ultimately, she wants this learning curve to prepare her to explore opportunities of growth in low resource settings such as India which will emerge from its rich local and cultural contexts. And, further find means to enable systemic changes that run from individual to community and beyond, while also allowing her to constantly challenge her assumptions.
