City Symphony

How do young and elderly people learn about different cultures? And how can you challenge peoples ideas of culture in their own city?

City Symphony allows people in the city to experience local culture around them in an engaging way. By hearing, not seeing, a new part of their city, the listener suspends judgement and opens up to a new experience. Can this non-judgmental and firsthand experience alter how we view our local communities and our neighbourhoods?

Stations are placed around in Copenhagen. They broadcast live audio from different neighbourhoods. Find the stations and take them to a new location. When you move the stations to new locations you shape the experience for other people, and express your view of the urban environment.
