Batman Fight Simulator

“Holy hole in a donut!”. Even if you weren’t exposed to the original 1960s Batman and Robin, it’s hard not to be seduced by the camp and kitsch style of the television series. So fast forward fifty years and with a little help from machine learning, you too can become a crime-fighting, caped crusader.

Gestures are captured through a Kinect camera and classified using the machine learning software Wekinator. Gestures are assigned values and sent to Processing. In Processing the gestures trigger effects such as “KAPOW!”, “WHAM!”, “BAM!” with matching sound effects.
