Stakk – Experimental time keeper

Inspired by environmental sound cues that allow us to feel the passing of time, Stakk is a time experiencing device. By choosing wooden blocks and adding them to the stack, you select the time intervals at which you want to feel a transition in time. The size of the blocks dictate their time duration and the stacking of the block adds it to the queue from bottom up. Subtle sound cues are played as one interval leads into the next, giving you a sense of how much time has passed. This immerses you in the moment without the distraction of having to check the time.
