During this one week video prototyping class we discussed issues surrounding personal banking. After considering effective and ineffective current banking methods surrounding personal money transfer we created a stop motion film addressing our projections on the future of banking. For the final presentation we created “Montap”.

Montap is a service through which people can transfer money with the touch of a finger. The service is an imagined banking solution to current banking hassles. We created a story board to serve as a guideline for the narrative. Props and characters were design and manually animated to create a stop motion video.

Throughout this course we learned how to convey a message quickly and effectively. We also developed further familiarity with the Adobe Premiere software. We learned the importance of a story board; how things need to be thought out beforehand and to be mindful of subtle transitional elements in video production.
