In this one week course we were introduced to programming with ‘Processing’. The first few days were spent learning the basics of the program and began with concepts like noise and drawing programs. For the final brief we were asked to simulate a phenomenon found in nature.

I chose to merge the ideas of blood cells and the human heart. Beginning with one simulated heartbeat in spherical form, each successive click of the mouse adds another to the composition. As more heartbeats are added, a hypnotizing chaotic rhythm is created.
