Light Remote

We created an interactive light and a separate controller interface using two Arduino boards and a set of sensors and LEDs.

We chose to experiment with five pyramid shaped lights that would work in sequence and display four different interactive light behaviours. Our interface was a cube which communicated wirelessly with the lights. By rotating the cube to another side the light behaviour would change.

In addition, the intensity and speed of the light was controlled by covering the top of the cube gradually with your hand. Suitable icons were etched on to each side of the cube to indicate the current behaviour mode.
