Human Harp: Finger Clips

As a part of the Human Harp project, our brief was to research and explore different ways how the strings could be attached to the dancers (“movicians”). It had to be sturdy and durable while still being easy to use.

We explored where to place the clips using bodystorming. We focused on particularly the fingers, and how even subtle movements could trigger the sound, mimicking playing a piano. We started with one string being split up into five different clips for each finger.
