Making the invisible visible

This class was all about exploring our cameras to make the invisible visible.

We started of experimenting with laser pointers and long exposures, which resulted in a ‘laser-scan’ where you get a sense of depth and contours merely visible through jumps in lines. Using the same long exposure technique we were able to show the system of the laser cutter. Suddenly enabling you to see how the laser actually moves around.

In the second part we were introduced to stop frame animation, exploring the same topic of making the invisible visible. We went for a somewhat more conceptual approach and visualized a brainstorm.
